“Unlock the window and try to move the sash from side to side. How much space is there between the sash and frame? Lock the window and then lift up and down. Does it feel tight or is there movement. Look at the corners, are the welds pretty clean or do they look sloppy? Ask to see a cutaway sample of the window, how many “honeycomb” chambers are there? The more the better. Find a place you can push on the vinyl such as the stiles. does the vinyl feel rigid or soes it seem flimsy?

Ask what the Design Pressure rating is and also what the Air Infiltration and Water Penetration rating is. Also ask what the U factor and Solar Heat Gain is. Who did the testing? Was it the manufacturer or NFRC for the U factor and SHGC and AAMA for the structural rating?

Open and close the window and tilt the sashes in a few times. Does the operation seem smooth? Rock the sash from side to side when the window is halfway open. How much play is there?

Ask to see a better grade of window and ask what the better grade has that the one you are looking at doesn’t have. What is different about the two?”

Bottom Line: Similar to another company on this website, reviews were hard to find. All but one of these reviews came from the same place.

These reviews don’t seem to be too favorable to this company, but you know what they say about opinions. Everyone has one and they can be different as night and day. We will leave it to you to decide.

Bottom Line: Unlike Western Hills Windows, Arch Design has reviews all over the web. And they are all good. It’s rare to find no bad reviews at all. But then again, it seems that most of the window companies in Cincinnati are reputable.

Bottom Line: Most of the complaints are several years old. We are not sure what happened, but judging from more recent comments, Champion has cleaned up their act in Cincinnati.

Bottom Line: This is a typical “maybe yes, maybe no” company. The reviews are fairly split down the middle. As with any service company, so much depends on the crew assigned to the job. The major concern is with the customer service after the sale.

Bottom Line: The top review was the only one we could find other than Google Places. It’s not a very good one, but in all fairness, it was several years ago and isolated to one installation crew. The other reviews are glowing, so we would have to think that that those gentlemen are no longer employed there.

Bottom Line: Every one of these reviews came from Google Places. Try as we might, we could not find any reviews, good or bad, at any other location.

Coincidence? Perhaps, but that would be pure speculation. Judging from the above reviews, ReVisions is a top notch company that does quality work.

Bottom Line: This has to be one of the shortest reviews we have ever written. Based on the number of reviews that we could find, this company barely exists.

But that might be a good thing. People can be vicious sometimes and if they don’t have anything bad to say, they don’t say anything at all. Since no one is saying anything about Western Hills, we could assume that is a good sign. No reviews are better than bad reviews.
